A Senior Roundtable Event

Move beyond the AI buzz and put it to work.

Wednesday, September 9, 2026
11:00 a.m.
Virtual Webinar
75–90 minutes, including Q&A

AI is changing the way PR professionals research, develop strategies, pursue new business and get work done. But knowing AI is important isn’t the same as knowing how to use it effectively.

AI in Action: Practical Applications for Today’s PR Practitioner is designed to help experienced PR and communications professionals turn AI from a buzzword into a practical part of their workflow.

In this interactive session, Sam Sims, APR, Fellow PRSA, Founder and President of The Sims Grp, will demonstrate real-world applications of AI with NotebookLM as the primary tool.

Rather than focusing on theory, this session will show you how AI can help solve everyday PR challenges, from turning scattered information into useful insights to developing stronger RFP responses and supporting smarter client strategies.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:

  • Use NotebookLM to transform disjointed information into actionable research and reporting.
  • Apply AI to develop quicker, sharper and stronger RFP responses.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into new-business efforts.
  • Leverage AI to support client strategy and planning.
  • Recognize practical AI applications that can improve day-to-day efficiency.

Who Should Attend?

This session is designed for PR and communications practitioners who want to better understand how AI can support the work they are already doing.

Whether you are working in an agency, corporate communications, nonprofit, government or another communications environment, you’ll leave with practical ideas and applications you can begin exploring immediately.
